Best 3 Wheel Pushchairs
All-terrain pushchair that provides lightweight durability and great maneuverability. Its compact one-hand fold means it's easy to move and freestanding when folded. The cushioned seat reclines into a nearly flat position, and there's a huge canopy and storage bin. Baby-friendly? Yes and with a carrycot.
3 wheeled pushchair with air-filled tires can help you to navigate the rough terrain. You can also use it to jog. However, you should wait until your baby is at minimum 6 or 9 months old.
Ickle Bubba XL Air
This pushchair from Ickle Bubba is a great option for parents looking for a lightweight buggy with enhanced features. It comes as a travel system, which includes a lie-flat carrycot for infants, a multi-position forward and rear facing pushchair seat, and a choice of group 0+ car seat, meaning you can have everything in one package.
The XL Air is a really impressive vehicle and it's simple to see why it's received such high praise from its customers. It is extremely light - the wheels and chassis weigh only 6.5kg. It is also very simple to put together. In fact I was able put it up and running in just five minutes, which is pretty impressive considering it included the tying of the fabric to the carrycot!

It has a comfortable wide seat that is comfortable for Annie (who is 12 months old) and the recline lever is simple to use. There's a good amount of room inside the basket and I like the fact that it comes with a zip-up pocket in the handle bar so you can keep your keys and phone safe!
The handlebar is a bit low, which can be an issue for parents who are taller. However, it's coated in a lovely leather-like material that is soft and comfortable and cleans down easily, meaning it's still a breeze to push with bags and children in your hands!
Hauck Pushchair Runner
The Runner is designed for athletic parents who want to go outside and explore. Its large pneumatic wheels were designed to be used on forest and field trails, and the front wheel can be rotated and locked to give you more flexibility. The stroller also features 5-point safety harness with a front bar to keep your child safe during all journeys. The parking brake will keep the stroller stationary while you rest. The seat can be adjusted to lay flat and the canopy can be opened for maximum air circulation during hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30cm to accommodate mum or dad.
Whether you're going for a quick jog or a hike that lasts a while, the Runner is ready to join you on your journeys with a comfortable, flat lie-flat seat and suspension air wheels that guarantee smooth, safe ride. The front wheel can be locked for more stability on narrow streets and crowded sidewalks and the stroller folds easily to fit into car boots and storage spaces.
The Runner 2 is a bit more difficult to maneuver for some parents than its predecessor. Additionally, the locking system (requiring two buttons either on either side of the handlebar) is less user-friendly. The handlebars are a bit higher than some competitors, and therefore may not be suitable for shorter parents. However, this stroller is sturdy and versatile and should be considered by families with active children.
Red Kite Push Me Pace
The Pace is a different great product from Red Kite, an affordable British brand which is known for its simple and well-designed essentials for parents. It's their newest and most expensive addition to the budget-friendly stroller line. Like the Ickle Bubba Aurora or Yoyo, it is car seat compatible, meaning it can be used from birth.
The new Pace comes with some amazing design elements, including a rose-gold shade on the hood, chassis, and stroller trims, which really distinguish it from. The cream, grey, and tan fabrics in the stroller and the car seat are elegant and there is the option of adding the leather cover handle and bumper bar, too.
It's suitable from birth to a maximum weight of 22kg and the stroller seat easily converts from the carrycot to an reversible 2-in-1 mode that can be parent-facing or world-facing. The stroller seat has various lie-back positions, softly padded legs rests and an extendable sun canopy that has concealed zip sections and a transparent flap, and a retractable visor.
When folded it's Pace is 56 33 x 43 x 32cm, which is enough to qualify as hand luggage with Easyjet and Ryanair, among other carriers. It's also a breeze to collapse, with two buttons on the handlebar's opposite side which just click in and then pop out.
Bugaboo Fox 5
Bugaboo's Fox 5 is designed to be the ultimate all-terrain stroller. Its unique chassis has a shorter wheel distance, making it more manoeuvrable than its predecessor. I put it to the test with my two children - a toddler and an eight week old - over rough terrain, grassy woodland walks and even cobblestones.
The large, puncture-proof wheels - 22cm or 30cm in diameter they can be used on a variety of terrains. The wheels come with a flap that can be closed or opened to let more air in when required. It's slightly larger than some pushchairs but does not feel heavy or bulky when you're pushing it over bumpy surfaces.
The fabric of the seat is machine washable, and the frame and faux leather grips are easy to clean. It's also much quieter than many pushchairs and I felt safe using it in busy city streets. Another benefit is that it has integrated accessory points. This means you can add footmuffs parasols, changing bags, and even a snack tray. You can also use the hood to block rain and wind, though it isn't particularly waterproof. The single pram can be fitted with the Comfort Wheeled Board (not included), which gives your child more legroom. The bassinet took about 20 minutes to set-up, and it took about the same amount of time to convert it into an actual seat.

The reversible handlebar is a wonderful feature that lets you adjust it to your height. The Ridge's fold, unlike other jogging strollers is reliable and self-standing when folded.
